There is an old Jewish legend about the origin of praise.

After God created mankind,says the legend,He ask the angels what they thought of the world he had made.

"Only one thing is lacking,"they said."

" it is the sound of praise to the Creator."

So, the story continues,

"God created music, the voice of birds,

the whispering wind,

the murmuring ocean, and planted melody in people's heart."

Music is the voice that tells us that  the human race is greater than it knows.

When Ferdinand was born, on

4.June 1959 in the wonderful green

Steiermark, Austria the Muse of Music and Poetry surely looked in to His cradle and blessed him with a wonderful voice and  the knowledge to write songs. No wonder He is a star sign of the Twin.

With His Eyes of deep brown and black Hair

a height of 1.81 cm He is a Person who definitely stands out in a crowd. On the right we see Ferdinand in his childhood and even then he knew where the camera is. He was born to act and sing.

Besides Singing Ferdinand's Hobby is dancing,riding, swimming, travel and music of course.

I once asked Ferdinand, what is your dislike?       What makes you unhappy?

   He said:  That we are still not equal, that people will be prosecuted for their beliefs.

That in our times, there should be no poverty, No political force, to suppress our right to be - us.

Ferdinand, I must agree with you whole heartedly.

You not only have a wonderful Voice, but your Soul is beautiful as well.

We are waiting and hoping that you will come back to our shores here in Down Under.

We in Australia are also know of Robert Stolz and be proud of him.

He is well known in this Country for the Apex Australian Robert Stolz Award. It is given to young musician to attend the Vienna Conservatory of Music.

I know that Robert Stolz would be proud to have an artist like

To be exact, Ferdinand was born in Deutschlandsberg.

To the English speaking Fans I will tell you a little about the Steiermark and then let the German Fans tell me if I am correct.

On the eastern side of the Koralpe in the Valley there Laßnitz,

is where you find Deutschlandsberg. To you, who have been in Austria is is about 40 Kilometers south west from Graz.

There are about 7.983 people who call Deutschlandsberg "Home".

You will find the wine of this region is very nice, but  you also  find an  Shoe Industry and Electric-ware being produced here.

But the greatest part of the Steiermark or "Styria"  is the "Green Gold" Her Forests and the Wood Industry!

Am Ostfuß der Koralpe im Tal der Laßnitz liegt Deutschlandsberg. Deutschlandsberg hat rund 7.983 Einwohner und liegt 40 Kilometer südwestlich von Granz, an der Bundesstraße die zum Radlpaß führt. In Deutschlandsberg wird auch Weinbau betrieben, die Stadt lebt jedoch von Elektrowaren- und Schuhindustrie sowie von den Produkt, mit dem die Steiermark sehr reich gesegnet ist, vom "Grünen Gold", den Wäldern. Deswegen finden wir auch in Deutschlandsberg einige Sägewerke. Bedeutend ist auch für diesen Ort der Fremdenverkehr. Im Jahre 1918 erlangte Deutschlandsberg das Stadtrecht. Die Burg Landsberg war bis 1803 Mittelpunkt der salzburgischen Besitzungen in der West Steiermark. Heute ist die Stadt der touristische Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und für Schitouren in das Koralpengebiet.

Bis heute sind die sechs Hengststämme vertreten: Conversano,Favory,Maestoso,Napolitano,Pluto and Siglavy

How come that Austrians are so blessed with Music? Every Musician who ever had a name lived in Austria. More so in Vienna.We have Haiden, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Anton Bruckner, Franz Schubert, Hugo Wolf, Gustav Mahler,Beethoven and of course the famous Strauß family.

Johann Strauß Father who composed the  Radetzkymarch. Johann Strauß Son who composed three times more songs then his father.  We all love Strauß music. Then there is Robert Stolz. Which I tell more about later.
